Having devised an appropriate layout for my three distinct buildings, I tested a series of roof formations. These developmental models explored the roofs at numerous pitches, sometimes exaggerating spaces, while at other times interior space heights have been designed more modestly. These models are rudimental, and require further investigation before I conclude upon form.
Using Balsa wood I explored and tested the structure of the Adult Learning Centre. I used the model to investigate the various potential bracing systems that the building might adopt.
